May Day Bank Holiday at Pennywell – Devon Tourist Attraction

In addition to all Pennywell’s famous hands on activities, shows, displays and rides, there’s an extra special May Bank Holiday Weekend coming up on the farm.

On Saturday 2nd May, Hawkeye Falconry UK will be at Pennywell. Fronted by Alistair Leese, it is one of the most sought after falconry display teams in the United Kingdom. Years of experience, dedication and passion, drive the team to exhibit the birds in a very unique and professional manner.

You can watch two breathtaking displays at 1pm and 3pm and the birds will be here all day to see at Pennywell Devon Tourist Attraction. Perfect for photo opportunities! They will be followed on Sunday 3rd May by the Hawk and Owl Sanctuary with their static display of birds to meet.

Nutty Noah returns to Pennywell on Bank Holiday Monday with his usual bonkers brand of fun and entertainment with two action packed shows in the Pennywell Theatre.

We will of course, be featuring our daily Party Political Pig Racing every day at 2.30pm, right up to election day. Will it be David Hameron, Ed Swiliband, Nigel Forage, Pork Clegg or Pork Scratchings who is first past the post to No. 10? If political pigs aren’t your thing, our adorable world famous Pennywell Miniature piglets will be here to enjoy cuddles, all day every day.

You won’t waste a single minute; the Pennywell team will give you a full day of award winning, action packed, hands on fun – guaranteed.

Pennywell is open every day between 10am and 5pm and is 1 mile off the A38, just south of Buckfastleigh. Further details are available on the Pennywell website: www.pennywellfarm.co.uk
