Tourism businesses across Devon are being invited to attend an event Pennywell Farm, near Buckfastleigh, designed to kick start the 2019 tourism season.

Pennywell’s owner, Chris Murray who is also Chairman of Devon’s Top Attractions is hosting the free event, now in its third year, on 14^th February to try and encourage tourism businesses to work together.

Chis explains, “In tourism we all need to think of the bigger picture. Whether it’s are a small B&B, a large hotel, holiday park or attraction, the aim should be the same; to give all visitors to Devon the best possible experience.”

Speakers include Sally Everton from Visit Devon and Anne Blackham, representing Devon’s Top Attractions. There will also be some practical workshops on recruiting and training an award winning team.

Chris says,” Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to show some love for the glorious county that we are blessed to live and work in. With a growth in visitor numbers to Devon, particularly from the overseas market, it’s a very exciting time to be involved in the industry”.
