Whether you’re three or eighty-three, nothing brings a smile faster than a snuggly piglet and a camera-ready moment. This hands-on experience is calm, comforting and a guaranteed memory-maker.

This is part of your day ticket entry to Pennywell Farm and the activity is available all day so you can enjoy your piggy cuddles and enjoy all the other activities on the farm alongside this experience.

Are Piggy Cuddles suitable for young children?

Yes. The cuddle pen is supervised by our team and is designed to be calm and safe for children of all ages. Little ones may need help from a grown-up to hold the piglet gently on their lap.

How long do I get to cuddle a piglet?

As long as you would like to cuddle them, we find most people come for a cuddle then enjoy the rest of the activities on the farm (every 30 minutes there's a new activity!)

Are the piglets okay being cuddled?

Yes. Our piglets are raised to enjoy gentle human interaction. We limit their cuddle time to ensure they’re happy, healthy, and well-rested.

Can I take photos during Piggy Cuddles?

Absolutely, and we encourage it! Just be mindful of the flash and make sure the piglet is comfy. Our staff are happy to help you grab that perfect piggy selfie.

Is the cuddle area indoors?

Yes. Piggy Cuddles takes place in a cosy indoor pen, so it’s perfect rain or shine.

Is Piggy Cuddles wheelchair accessible?

Yes, our cuddle pen is accessible. If you or a guest in your group needs additional support, just ask our team we’re happy to help.

What should I wear for Piggy Cuddles?

We recommend comfy, casual clothing that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty. Piggy Blankets are available to purchase at the gift shop.

A fantastic day out for small children, we arrived at 10am and left at 4pm with animal feeding, tractor rides, cuddling piglets and much more Top places!

AMAZING, one of our best days out EVER, feeding the goats, sheep, deer and pigs, Cuddles with pigs and pygmy goats, pig races and giving the goats a bottle of milk, and milking goats, close encounters with loads of animals, the whole family loved it 10 out of 5 stars 🤩

We mainly chose Pennywell Farm for the pig cuddling, although we were a party of 6 adults!! We thought after the pig cuddling we would be done but we were there for a very long time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Ample places to eat/drink and washrooms. Handwashing facilities were also plentiful. I recommend a visit for both you g and old.

We are from Manchester, but are staying in Looe, Cornwall for a family holiday. I have wanted to find a farm where I could cuddle piglets for a long time and this place didn’t disappoint. Absolutely loved my time here. Plenty to do for kids and adults. Spend most of the day there enjoying things to do every half an hour. The piglet cuddles were definitely the highlight for me, but lovely staff. Would highly recommend.

Pennywell farm great price for your money activities every 30 minutes, and more activities such as pets and piggies cuddles and red rocket. My kids completely loved there time here definitely a great day out and you are there for the whole day.

A lovely family day out. My granddaughter really enjoyed seeing all the animals. So much to see and do! We enjoyed feeding the goats and all the animals seemed happy in their surroundings. The deer were beautiful too.

A brilliant day out for all the family, from 18 month olds to 85 years old the whole family will enjoy, a jam packed full day of talks, shows and activities as well as petting area and goat bottle feeding to name a few full list in pictures below. Brilliant family run business that seems to be constantly reinvesting in its growth. Great indoor picnic area with big bouncy castles to keep the kids busy while you eat in peace.

Brilliant farm. It was recommended to us by a few friends and it did not disappoint. All of the staff were really friendly and you can tell that all of the animals are loved and well cared for. Lots of activities on all day. Good facilities. Can’t wait to go back.

We visited Pennywell last night for their pumpkin night. It was perfect in every way. Great pizzas and drinks on offer, so many perfect photo opportunities, our kids had fun in the new play area and especially enjoyed roasting marshmallows.
